Used 2003 BMW 3 Series 325i Rwd 4dr Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
BMW QUALITY...WHAT QUALITY
Got flat, tried to fix with BMW Jack that came with car. Jack broke. BMW tow truck took 1hr 45min when I was told only 1hr. Alarm and electronics always malfunctioning. Service department really unfriendly, always treat you like an idiot and nothing is their fault. If they tell you when your car will be ready, that really means that it'll be ready 4-24hrs from that time. and you'll find that no work was done on car, cause they can never find the problem and always say everything is fine.
my 1st and my last BMW
got car in Sep 2003. Bring back in Oct 4th,problem early in the morning, put car into reverse, then back to drive, car still going backward, in order to drive again, turn OFF engine, put into drive. Dealer said need to reprogram software (11 days) not fixed, bring to another dealer, advisor says need a new transmision but BMW of America does not have in stock (the largest consumer of BMW in the world does not have a new transmission !?),must order from Germany,(car stay in dealership for 34 days and still in the dealership),get call today 12/04/2003,wrong transmission shipped, do not know when the new one will arrive.

Made a Mistake
It is a noce car, but not worth the money. There are many other cars that I test drove that I sould have purchased. This car is a waste of money, they are surviving on their name only at this point.
Dissapointed
I bought my 325I back in March(2003 Model) primarily for its engineering/quality. I have been sorely disappointed. It has been just 7 months and car's faulty transmission is being replaced. Bottomline I was looking at 525 as my future car and now I am not.
Doors (power windows, speaker trim)
power window regulators continually go bad (front and back), speaker trims break (cosmetic issue) in the doors (front). I'm tired of windows that won't go up or down without things breaking (breaking plastic, ginding sounds, and power windows completely inop). - "Regulator", as the shop personell blaim, needs redesigned.
