I currently lease a 2018 Audi q7. Im over leasing so ive looked into comparable other cars before pulling the trigger. I looked at a BMW x7, Mercedes GLE and GLS, and Volvo xc90 t8,. All really great cars and they each have their own special features and i have to say, I'm still in love with the q7. However, i will say the driving/ handling, suspension and safety is far greater on the Mercedes compared to bmw, Volvo and Audi. Mercedes ride was so smooth it was unbelievable, and it's priced cheaper by 10k from the premium plus fully loaded q7, but there's no denying what the heart wants and that's my Audi. Audi sold me on the sporty look, the sleek flawless console, the sound system, the sun shades, the black optic package, the Audi lights as you step out of the car, the suede interior (on the prestige)... ugh, it's one sexy beast. If you can afford it, a q7 is the way to go.

At 6'.1" 230 lbs. this vehicle fits me like a glove. I test drove the Q5, however found it too compact for me. I bought the 2018 Q7 3.0T Premium which is supercharged not turbo. The only thing I dislike about the vehicle is no spare tire and 19 inch wheels. The 20 inch wheels look much better on this vehicle in my opinion. Next tire change I may go with run flats, however understand they make the ride firmer. The interior is very luxurious and the ride is smooth and sporty. I traded a 2010 Toyota Highlander knowing I am trading reliability for something luxurious and sportier.

I'm very frustrated with this car. It reminds me of my old bmw 750xi. Nice car, drives well, but its always down for repairs.
