3rd Time's a Charm!
I'm on my 3rd EV and don't plan to have another ICE vehicle for a daily driver. I've had a Tesla Model S 75D and Model S Performance (Ludicrous). I've enjoyed the Audi much more. I found that unless you often take your car to a track, having a 0-60 in the low 2 range is great but you can rarely put it to task like you would want. The constant Tesla Infotainment screen blackouts, while driving, are unnerving at first and I don't miss that at all. People aren't aware of the flaws of Tesla cars because of being drowned out or attacked by zealous fanboys. Many will compare the E-tron GT and Tesla Model S but they are significantly different approaches to EVs. You really can't compare them in my opinion. The Audi is still in the 3s for a 0-60 time and has features that the Testa doesn't even offer. I am enjoying the better, quieter ride and love driving it. I didn't go for a higher trim level for my first foray into the brand; especially with it being a new model. I chose the Premium Plus with more options and still came in lower than a Prestige. Lastly, the E-Tron GT is a gorgeous vehicle that you have to see in person to appreciate and I couldn't be more pleased with it!

Finally an Audi I love to drive, again
This is the sixth Audi I have purchased in 12 years and although things started great with a 2011 S5 and a 2015 S5 Cabrio, things went downhill rather quickly with the 2020 S4 (Audi quit using S-tronic for their sportier cars and in general the driving experience took a major dive). I had to quickly recover by switching to an EV, the 2019 e-tron, and although a great car, it made me miss my old S5s. When GTs finally became prevalent enough, I had to make the switch. I'm now getting the best of all worlds. This car looks beautiful, it drives like a tank on rails (just like my old V8 S5), it's super-fast like my APR-tuned supercharged S5, and it's loaded with the latest tech and creature features. It is by far the best car I have owned to date and I can't imagine what could possibly follow it. Caveat emptor: if you're going to get a GT, get the Prestige / Performance / Full Leather version. You'll want the all-wheel air suspension, all-wheel steering, e-torque vectoring plus (no brakes!), and massaged/ventilated seats. I do miss the soft-closing doors and air fragrance of my 2019 e-tron but this car more than makes up in every other way. Driving in this car is a real treat, every single time.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!
The Good - Have drove the e-tron GT for about 7 months and it's really comfortable, quiet, feels like you are in a vault. Also got it with the vector steering so it handles beautifully for such a large car. Extremely fast as well, pretty easy to get over 80mph without any effort. The Bad - For a +$100K priced vehicle, the features are lacking compared to cheaper EVs (BMW M50, Kia EV6) Also, not enough trunk space, hard to get 2 golf bags in the trunk. They should have made it with a hatch like the Taycan which is odd since both cars are built on the same platform. Lastly, not enough space in the middle compartment but not a big deal. The Ugly - the car feels extremely heavy and I found the brakes pretty mushy. I had to really gauge my distance from the car in front of me if I was going pretty fast, in the event I needed to brake. Also the regen is pretty weak compared to other cars. My wife has a BMW IX M60 and I can really experience one-pedal driving (max regen) in her car. Lastly, the Audi app and interface with EA sucks which is strange since VW owns both Audi and EA. They need to step up their software dev, especially since smartphones and apps are so ubiquitous.

Serious quality issues
I had an Audi E Tron GT for a total of 15 months. I would say that 50% of the time it was in the Audi service department. It turned out to be one problem after another so I finally became fed-up and got out of my lease after paying a stiff penalty. I never would have expected so many quality deficiency issues with such an expensive vehicle.

I should know!
I drove an Audi E-tron GT for more than a year until trading it in for a Long Range 2024 Tesla Model 3. I must say I was flabbergasted how a car that costs less than half as much can have such superior software and a far better user-friendly interface. The acceleration, performance and comfort is virtually identical with 25% more battery range. This learning experience cost me tens of thousands of dollars!
