Brakes and rotors--twice. AM Reception--nonexistent. Radio replacement--takes 8 weeks. Front Bumper design flaw--tears off when you go over a parking space stopper. They pay to fix it the first time. Apparently the second time it happens the design flaw is gone, because you pay. Three times. AC Blower--twice. Driver door--creaks. Availability of appointments at local repair shops--are you kidding? Jiffy Lube doesn't have AUDI filters. Tires--twice. Jammed rear cupholders--twice. Key fell apart--once. Cupholders--only hold cans. Oil leak because of bad gasket--once. If you have a lot of time to service a car, this one's really fun to drive when it's running.

The A6 is a great car, easily comparable to the BMW 5 series or the Mercedes E class. Test drive this before you purchase a car in this class!

Great interior and very good driving car for enthusiast that does not care about rear-wheel drive. Very good gas mileage 18-20 City. 25 Highway. Excellent tarction in all weather conditions. In terms of reliability, it has aways started and has had a few too many trips to the service bay for an odd list of small issues ranging from a broken cup holder to a defective gas tank (recalled twice). Still looks great and has held up in tough urban driving. Ride is still very consistent and Quattro is excellent AWD system. It has never failed me.

I have owned Audis since 1990 and this one is the best so far. No question, at the time I bought it it was one of the best engineered cars on the road.

Leased this car new in 2000, can't wait to turn it back in. If we had owned it, it would have been gone long ago. After almost 3 years of complaints the dealer finally solved a cold start problem (towed in 5 times) but after the fix it developed a cooling leak that took 3 visits to cure. Broken power windows, fuel tank recalls (2) etc, etc etc.
