Choose TL over Accord

Looked at TL and Accord. Dealers are giving away the Accord right now. I would have paid under invoice for the Accord, with TL you are lucky to pay $1000 over invoice. Accord was a great value, but did not have the pizazz of the TL. I was still willing to pay the extra $$. Would recommend getting Navigation, integration is extremely functional. Took advantage of Acura 2.9% financing.

TL pleasure to drive

I have driven the car now for three weeks, 2k miles. I tend to be a "spirited driver", so driving this car has been a nice experience. The only drawback is the torque steer resulting from the FWD on takeoff. I am used to rwd systems, so it comes as a surprise when your steering wheel doesn't correct when accelarating and turning at the same time, as when merging into uncoming high speed traffic. Highly recommend in every other respect. Like the XM radio feature too.

Didn't expect to buy a TL. With integrated bluetooth phone, great acceleration and superb handling at close to 30K, just could not turn it down

The ALL-New TL is the Truth....

I have 6M, true there is torque steer issue and launching the car does require attention paid lest you stall/chirp/peel at traffic lights. The fuel ecomomy is excellent 23~26 on average HVAC excellent always comfortably. Electronics work well. I do not have a Bluetooth telephone yet but I am looking forward to that. The turnk is smaller than the Vigor but trunk liner and the cargo nets and pass through make this trunk more usable, a fold down rear seat would have beeen a help. The power of this car and the effortless ability to cruise at high speed has netted me 1 speeding ticket and has caused me to really choose when/where to lean into the power of that 270 HP V6.

I bought an Acura TL in Jan of 04. I thought the car was great when I first got it. Now after owning it for about a year I have noticed some issues with the car one is torque stear. and one big thing for me is the backend has a tendancy to be soft around corners its so lite back there that it kind of flops around in quick turns. One other complaint I have is a constant vibration under the driver floorboard. Good things about the car are sound system is great and it's ergonomically pleasing. Over all this car would be good in the south and california but if you live in the north like me find something with a little more ground clearance. Oh one last complant the front end scrapes everything.
