Used 2005 Acura TL Consumer Reviews
30 Year GM Owner-Employee Goes Acura
After working for and driving GM cars for 30 years we looked at the new models and felt that we were in a rut to purchase another GM product. Working for them was worse as I saw all the flaws that were brought to are dealership on a daily basis and could not believe that there was any quality control. Most recently I accepted a position working for a Honda Franchise and found the highest quality vehicles I had ever seen with extreme owner loyalty. We test drove the Acura TL and were sold in the first block. We not only bought one but our son picked his up the same day. We said "SO LONG GM" and could not have made a better purchase of a finer car. Class, Style, Performance sums up the TL.
Ride's too hard-It's that simple
I liked the technology( navigation & xm radio) BUT no ease of entry (wife couldn't reach door handle to close door from a seating position) tires were flat spotted for 3-5 miles from a resting position, engine & road noise was excessive. & ABOVE all the car gave me a ride like my "little red wagon" minus shocks & springs. Just traded for a lexus LS

'05 TL - Best in Class
Had the '02 TL-Type S and loved it. This model is an improvement in every way from looks to performance to features. Quick acceleration with firm but comfortable ride. Surround sound is great but limited selection for DVD-As and they're more $$ than CDs. Acura's reliability is among the best and I'm looking forward to years of pure driving pleasure.
Acura TL is Excellent
The Acura TL is an excellent investment. It looks great (especially with the underbody spoilers), is very reliable, and gets good gas mileage. You can really feel the 270HP and it's very fun to drive. I highly recommend.
