Bought the car in 06 with 20k on it! Flawless until 120,000. At 120k the coil went, 4 weeks later transmission dead. I drove it to the dealer and traded it in on an 09 MDX!

So i just purchased this vehicle a year ago. Had 206k miles. Transmission is my absolute only gripe with these vehicles. I drive it every day about 180 miles per day, added a trans oil cooler , replace external trans filter every 20k as well as do a dump and fill about 3.5quarts at the same time with valvoline maxx life full synthetic atf fluid. It has worked absolute wonders. I bought the car for $400 cash because the 2nd owner never replaced trans fluid for aroung 70k miles after the final update transmission was installed at acura. Anyways, i bought it barely able to make it home (about 1 mile drive) i did 2 dump and fills on the trans, did a external filter change and it slowly but surely came back to life and is now my daily driver, it has minor issues but is now at 269k and has replaced my 6th generation accord as my daily. Im very satisfied with the power and comfort of this vehicle.

I purchased the 03 Acura TL S in 08. I paid $7,500. Worth every cent. I have had a Nissan Maxima / Mitsubishi Galant / Honda Accord/ Chevy Blazer/ Toyota Celica/ Ford Explorer just to name a few. This is by far the best car I have ever had. It had 70,000 miles when I purchased it. It now has 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. I keep up with the oil changes and tune ups. Just regular mantaince and it is as smooth as glass to drive. The acceleration smooth speed awesome just a fun & comfortable car to drive. My son is now driving it and loves it over the new 2014 Nissan Rogue. Was a great car sorry report transmission needs to be rebuilt or sold as is.

Car is overall in great condition, but transmission is shaky and fuel economy is below average. I've taken car in for service and had taken all preventive measures in boosting fuel economy but only time will tell.

Excellent car, typical Honda Product, very well built, fun to drive, no problems. Automatic Climate Control needs to be tweaked if below freezing, works fine the rest of the time. Car gets 31 mpg highway, 23 around town.
