2017 Audi A8
My wife and I have owned Audis since 1989 and we drive more average. We consider a 4,000 mile road trip as ordinary and a 10,000 mile coast -to-coast journey a real "road trip." Our 2017 Audi A8L Sport has an amazing set of attributes. It has wonderful seating, a fabulous beautifully made interior, front and rear sunroofs, solid A/C, 4 wheel steering and the torque vectoring rear … differential. This car handles simple far better than anyone could expect for a 207" long, 4700 pound vehicle. The rear seat legroom is rather amazing. The other apparent contradiction is that this car is very powerful, very fast, yet gets mileage on the highway that matches or exceeds that of far less powerful cars. 28-29 MPG in a car with these attributes is amazing. The engine switches to 4 cylinder operation on the highway and it so well engineered that you simply cannot discern when the car goes from 8 to 4 .
and back to 8 cylinder operation. My car has 70,000 miles on the odometer and looks, drives, smells and performs as though it is almost brand new.
