I test drove Passat's, Accord's,
Camrey's, Legacy's and domestic sedans
before choosing the Maxima. The
combination of power, built quality,
design, resale, and reliability was
just not matched by any of the others.
It's simply the best car I've ever
owned and the best car I've ever ridden
in that's affordable.
Interior layout, exterior styling (I'm
a little iffy on the tail lights, but
the side profile is terrific),
excelleration, solid construction, very
stable ride (no float or rocking),
comfortable seats, split locking back
seats, and the keyless entry is very
handy for the trunk.
There are only two things I don't like
about the car and they both pertain to
total cost of ownership. First, you
need to pump premium fuel into the
tank. Second, because the parts come
from Japan the insurance costs are
higher than foriegn sedans built in the
