    Hey drdrakeramore. Mazda isn't providing lease support on 2012 CX-9 models any longer. If you really want to lease, you will be better off going with a 2013 model. If you're set on getting a leftover 2012 model and don't care how you get it, you could always finance one at 0% for 5 years or 0.9% for 6 years AND get $1,500 dealer cash.     Bud- what was your resolution. I have pinpointed the rattle to the lever that moves the seat up and back under the passenger side 2nd row.     we have a 2011 CX-9 and get 18 city and 23 highway without any special driving habits. has an AWD 2008 CX-9 with absolutely terrible mileage (14/19) and just going with front wheel drive and newer technology has helped a lot. This is a Great 3 seat SUV!

    Would love to hear from other 2012 mazda cx9 owners about the kind of mileage you're getting. City is posted at 16 and the dealer told us to expect a couple miles higher than that. The best we are getting in the city according to the dash display is 13.7. We love the car but are very disappointed with this terrible mileage. We could have gotten a Suburban for that.

    When I researched the CX9 last year, a CT dealer said he could drop whatever price we negotiated by $1000 for NOT taking the 0% financing. I did not buy one due to the complaints about the poor GPS system used by Ford and Mazda. I wonder if that has changed for 2012/13

    I purchased a 2010 AWD CX-9 in Feb. 2011. Heard the whinning sound as being described here. In August 2011, had to replace transfer case, etc. Noise really never went away. Well, now in July 2012, looks like I have another transfer case issue. Let me know if anyone else has experienced transfer case/transmission issues with the Mazda CX-9 (especially 2010 model.)

    Just leased a 2012 CX9 from Royal Mazda in SF. It's a touring edition, liquid silver, with bose/moonroof/backup camera option, as well as auto liftgate. Got a great price -- $337 a month for 36months/12k miles -- with a trade in net equity value of $3,200. Monthly payments bumped up to $352 with the Mazda care included -- covers all oil changes and maintenance for the next three years.

    The CX9 is definitely bigger and better for our purposes. Yes there will be no equity but the way I saw it, we already owed more than our CX7 was worth and we had outgrown the car. You know, in most states you have 3 business days to CANCEL any contract. Call a lawyer, or legal aid or dept of consumer protection and ask how much time you have you can cancel a contract.

    pj2011. If you are in northern IL, try Liberty Mazda in Libertyville. They were the lowest of the 5-6 dealers I worked with on the internet (although I bought in Wisconsin as it turns out).

    No idea yet. We typically won't know until the summer at the earliest. Inventory is not expected to arrive until November, if Mazda contiunes to ship according to their past history. All new CX-9's usually arrive in late October or November.
