2002 Ford Thunderbird
In the autumn of 1955 an uncle & aunt purchased a new ‘56 raven black Thunderbird. Once in a while he’d give me a ride around town, much to my joy. Such rich memories.
I own a 2002 evening black (triple black-exterior, interior & top). Ok, so it’s not a’56, yet as I drive suddenly I’m that boy with a grin on his face, a skip in his heart (ok, I’m old) and the memory of a fun afternoon … with my uncle.
Mine currently has 21,000 miles (not a daily driver), has never been in rain or snow and out of state once since new - down to Portland,OR for a regional Thunderbird meet.
It meets my expectations for a trouble free car that always knows when he and I are going out for a fun run.
