Computer is junk, hub assemblies fail

It's a nice, roomy vehicle.
After owning it about a year though the automatic window motors went out one by one.
Then we lost cruise control.
Then the air conditioner, but it eventually came back.
One day I got in and started it, none of the panel items (speedometer, gas gauge, etc) worked.
Had to replace both of the hub assemblies a couple years ago, they said it's a known issue with Suburbans.
I've had it 4 1/2 years now and the electrical system is hosed.
Dealer wants $1000 to replace the computer.
Will trade it in on something that isn't junk.
Fix the problems with the hub assemblies.
Fix the computer issues.
Perhaps if they were programmed by Americans?
how many miles on those hubs? The computer was acting funny because you probably just needed to replace the 6 year old battery. Cruise control is a $15 sensor behind the brake pedal. The AC issue is usually due to low battery voltage and the mixing valve in the dash not holding the program. Get a new mechanic. Love my 2008 LTZ Suburban, except for the AFM oil burn issue :(
