So disappointed with this car

It is pretty to look at but sometimes the system does not boot up when you turn on the car so for 15 minutes or so while driving there is no heat/ac or radio, the display screen only works for android when your phone is physically plugged in to the car, the voice response is a joke no matter what you say the response is always the same. I would give anything to get out of my lease and get back to a BMW or Mercedes.

More power than expected

After 1500 miles fully satisfied. The polestar optimization gives us polestar performance without the gaudy polestar model accessories and only costs $1295. The car is unexpectedly fast and handles great. After 41k miles, still satisfied. The ride with 20” tires is rougher than we would like but the handling makes up for that. Our only issue is that Volvo refuses to replace the headlights that obviously point too low. We have had a couple near misses on the road at night.

Sophisticated power

This t6 gives me power without being ‘in my face’ about it. It feel like it is saying ‘no problem, what else do you want’. The cabin is very comfortable and the seats are the best I have ever had in a vehicle. Upgraded to leather with leg extensions, if I do again, I would go for full on massage option. I will admit that it takes a little getting used to to go from traditional knob controls to the ipad-like screen, but with the help of my wonderful salesman, I am off and rolling. This car is extremely quiet and is wonderful to escape to for a commute after a stressful day. The steering is light and the safety features work well. I needed a software update as my only service experience and that was handled wonderfully by my salesman. Pleased with this purchase.

My wife wanted a new more luxurious car. I prefer a less expensive car, reliable, practical and easy to work on. So you could say I am biased "out of the gate." Purchased via Volvo overseas delivery program realizing a true savings of $10k over dealer sticker. So that's one +. Pros: bigger car, attractive exterior styling, handles well, plenty of power, smooth shifting transmission, transfers little outside noise to interior, leather clad seats are comfy and many safety features. Mileage is good as we live in the country with little stop and go. MPG= 25.5 with 2180 miles driven. Cons: exterior paint is sub par having little metallic content for an extra $650, front cockpit for both driver and passenger feels cramped. Some might call it cozy. Driver's right arm cannot rest easy at their side. Center info center/control screen is difficult to operate when driving as too much attention needed to select functions. Don't like electric parking brake, something else expensive to fix down the road. This car will be very expensive to repair when that happens after warranty expiration. Too many electric this and electronic that to break down over the years. I must admit the engine responsiveness is seductive, a clear winner over my 2014 Honda CRV. However, I will sell this car in the not too distant future as 1. I will be alone, not needing two cars and 2. I fundamentally do not like luxury cars. Being fair. I will say in it's defense, I believe Volvo has produced a product superior in value, given all the features, to similar models of BMW and Audi. Update: sold the car to my youngest son as I no longer need two cars. More glad it is gone than not. I am just not interested in more luxurious vehicles,
