Used 2001 Volvo V70 Consumer Reviews
v70's great
car drives like and suv and performs like a sports car handles well at high speeds and does well off road.the looks are very manly and the inside very womanly. the ground clearance is very high and better than most pickups. interior comfort is very good and the noise level inside is very low. the stero is excellant with the safty features be best around.
My next car will be another XC70!
I had heard about other bad experiences with Volvo but really wanted this wagon instead of an SUV. I have had no problems in over a year (except for headlights which every time my dealership has replaced within 5 minutes and given me for free). This car drives like a dream in the city and is awesome on long car trips. I do not get the kind of mileage the reviews say (18 city, 25 hwy) I average 21.7 in the city and over 26 on the highway! Way to go Volvo!

Love this Car!
This is my first experience not only with Volvo, but also a wagon. It has more than met my expectations in a car. I feel very safe putting my 2 chilren in it everyday. Comfortable and roomy throughout, but durable and sturdy. I don't think I will ever drive any thing other than a Volvo. I have driven the sedans also, and enjoyed those as well.
Sorry Volvo
Cruise control works randomly half the time. Message center randomly shows that engine needs service. Fuel door fell off the car three times. Message center has shown exterior lights out but none found. replaced the front end suspension at 55,000 miles. (wife's car). Engine roar at idle very annoying.
Mike's V70 Review
Overall, this is an excellent car; probably the most comfortable of any car I've ever driven. It has a few reliability problems (since I bought it in July 2000, I've had to replace the alternator, right electric door lock, brake booster, both headlight bulbs, one tail light bulb, and some air conditioning work - can't remember exactly, but it wasn't blowing cold air). Visibility out of the rear side windows is hampered a little by the front seat headrests. Very peppy, wonderful ride, and fun to drive.
