Volvo may cover it and may not. Warranty period over Have spent 8000 to fix it. 8 years 100000

I have owned this car for a year now and have put over 40,000 miles on it. So far nothing has gone wrong with the car and have only had to pay for oil changes and regular maintenance. It’s very comfortable and handled extremely well in the snow. The engine seems to be just the right size for me with and dynamic mode you really can get up and go merge onto traffic, cross streets with ease. It is starting to look dated on the inside as the infotainment system is getting old and the navigation doesn’t work as well as my phone so I prefer to use my phone . Overall build quality seems very well put together no noise is coming from inside the cabin . My only real complaint is I wish that it got better fuel economy as I’m averaging about 26 miles per gallon with 85% highway miles .

I bought this car about 115 months ago thinking it would be great for a new family. I went to bring my newborn home and the rear-facing car seat did not fit, when I say it did not fit I mean the front passenger seat had roughly 3inches of legroom making the seat unusable. After finding the car would not fit out needs I went to trade in the car and visited 7 dealers and the car had depreciated higher than 50%. The sticker on my car was 42,534 and the trading in came in at 20k after just 15months. If you are looking at this car plan on keeping it for a long time or you will be throwing money away.

We bought our (used) V60 T5 Platinum trim three years ago with 51,000 miles on it. We just turned 100,000 and it has been perfect, no problems at all. We have maintained it rigorously, and we did get the letter from Volvo regarding problems with the pistons and burning oil. We brought it to a Volvo dealership as instructed for testing and ended up getting the required repairs done for free, plus a new timing belt. Other than that no repairs needed! It handles easily, great acceleration, and I have gotten as many as 40 mpg on road trips. And I love the heated steering wheel; heated seats are nice but I have never been unable to drive because my rear end was too cold and I have had to turn around and get thicker gloves because the steering wheel was too cold! We plan to keep driving it for years to come. I forgot to mention that it's a beautiful car, and as comfortable as all of the reviews say.

Very pleased with the quality of the vehicle, comfort and driving handle ability. Only have the car 4 days now so I can't say for certain, but so far I am extremely pleased. Oh, and way sportier than one would think of a station wagon.
