225K and going
I got this car with 62k on it. I currently have @ 225K. I have had to repair replace a few things, but nothing out of the ordinary. I would suggest to anyone who wants a good car for the long haul
Recommed this Wagon
I've owned my turbo wagon for a year now. Initially I had to repair some items its former owner didn't. The car has been GREAT after that. The 850 turbo wagon is one of the most desirable Volvo's in todays used car market. It is reliable, very fast, great in snow, comfortable, and rock solid safe. Volvo quality is really on the decline now that Ford owns them. If you have the chance, buy a real Volvo, the last of the truly good ones! Talk to any Volvo mechanic; I'm sure you'll hear the same thing.

One fine Volvo
This volvo 850 turbo wagon is very fast! It has a classic look, is built like a steel vault and is reliable.
Excellent Performance
We purchase the car 2 yrs ago when it had 70,000 miles. I now has 88,000 miles and we have not had any problems with the car. It has been my wife's car and it is red and has all of the bells and whistles. We are thinking about buying a new car.
Volvo 850 Turbo-- Great car
Solid, well built car, with excellent safety features. On long trips I can get around 29 mpg; which is excellent considering it is a turbo! After this year, to me, Volvo's began to be made cheaply; they cut back and cut corners. Look at a 1995 850 Volvo in and out, then go to a dealer and look at its new incantation as the S70.
