Worth the Expense

I love my Volvo. It has over 208,000 miles on it and it still runs strong! If you keep up the maintenance they will last forever. Sure, the repairs can be a little costly but your driving a unequaled car - not to mention one of the safest (my family is worth it).

A Classic Volvo

We bought the car after our second child was born in 1994. Only problems have been the air conditioning, as well as some more minor engine parts. Everything else is great, very safe and solid!

Nice but it has Flaws

Overall it's a nice, solid car with the most beautiful, comfortable leather seats I've ever seen, nice alloy wheels and an attractive overall look. But look out for major mechanical defects...the a/c evaporator is a common problem, costs $1,000 to replace...also lots of trouble with the temperature sensors, constant problems with the power antenna, also tends to leak a lot of oil and other fluids. I thought this was the most reliable of the European brands but I was wrong; I'm too busy to hassle with the constant problems and wish I had gone with a Japanese make.
