I have nearly 78000 miles now. I have had a few problems with the Jetta. 1) Window regulators times 2 (one fixed under warranty even at 38000 miles.) 2) Rear brakes wearing prematurely. Overall, I love my jetta great cargo space, great performance, comfort. Would by another VW.

This car has run great since the day I bought it. Only one trip to the service center for a faulty sensor. I would highly recommend the VR6. Fast and Fun.

I love how fast the car is and how comfy it is. The brakes are very good and smooth, and the engine is also very smooth. It is just such a fun car to drive and it has so much in it that you wouldn't even imagine.
Wouldn't buy another VW

So far (I've had the car since Sep 99), I've had the following go wrong: O2 Sensor out - took 2 days to replace Cupholders broke Center arm rest latch broke Driver's side window fell into door Two weeks later (after the factory recall repair was supposedly done), the right side window fell into the door Mass airflow sensor had to be replaced (this seems to be a common one) It's not that this is such a bad car. I have the VR 6, and it drives really well, has great power, and is quiet. It's just that with a VW, I expected to feel like I had a reliable car, and I don't.
