30+ MPG and 300hp
I have an SEL R-line and I absolutely love this car. It’s almost everything you could want in a car. Roomy, efficient, economical and exhilarating all in one package. The tech could be better coming from Kia’s easy to use platform. I have over 20k miles on my car and could not be happier. It grips and rips when needed but is very comfortable for long distance drives as well. Sad that this platform will be going into the sunset soon. UPDATE: Love this car great for long drives, confidence inspiring handling and awesome mpg while cruising near 80mph. Infotainment is my only callout as it is cumbersome at times and slow, compared to the Kia I used to have and my wife’s Pallisade.

The “Art” of the Arteon
It seems this is my forth VW now and my most enticing. All Wheel Drive, hatchback and 300 horses of cornering fun. The exterior is elegant and warrants my cars nickname, ‘The Magic’. You feel special riding inside. Flat through the curves with responsive steering. Intuitive infotainment system with strong sound from the stereo. Finishing touches abound to please and a solid thump when the doors close. A solid build indeed. Criticism? A bit of turbo lag with the transmission which is likely to be expected to push all the power to the wheels. Leave the completion, which is slim in this segment, in the rear view. Put some asphalt behind you and set the drive from a number of drive settings to ‘Sport’ which is a hoot. Drive one, you’ll like and enjoy! See you on the road...

Back in a V-Dubb!
It’s been a few years of being away from a Volkswagen, I made the journey back. I’m enjoying the ride of my SEL R-line. It’s smooth, comfortable and a stand-out. I can always spot it in a parking lot. My favorite feature is the car-net, having it nice & toasty in the winter is great, my wife enjoys this as well. I can’t wait to take my first road trip when things improve.

Still like the Arteon after 3 years
I have the ‘21 Premium, so the car was loaded with options found in the higher end Audi. After 30k miles, still really enjoy the car. Other than an AC compressor that was replaced in the first few months of ownership, the vehicle has needed nothing other than regular servicing every 10k miles. The Travel Assist functions as just that, it assists but doesn’t drive the car. She complains when set at 80 and encounters moderate freeway curves. Otherwise, pretty good. Very comfortable, great premium sound, 32 mpg with all wheel drive is common. I always lease my cars, was able to extend this one out to 45 months, might just buy this one.
