2023 Hyundai Kona
Bought a 2023 Kona SEL this summer, and very happy with my choice. Looked for a small SUV for more seating, more cargo capability, and better visibility: my now “summer” vehicle remains a 2013 Audi TT convertible. Have been pleasantly surprised by the comfort and performance of the Kona. I’m 6-foot-2, and don’t fit in some cars, but very comfortable driving the Kona. Car has enough … pep in the engine and drive train to make driving fun (obviously, not even near the Audi) but who needs to make everything a drag race? But now I can consider more than one passenger, and actually carrying bulky items home from store. The Kona comes standard with so many options (e.g., driver safety features) it’s nice not feeling nickel-and -dimed by the dealer for options. The styling (mine is the red, with black rook and accents) was more interesting than the rather boring styling of the American car makers. Great gas mileage (30 city, 33+ highway). Add in Hyundai free maintenance and exceptional warranty, great value in a small SUV.
