Repair bills make me think I bought a Bentley

2011 Honda CR-Z
It's a great car for about 75,000 miles. At eight years old, it badly needs a paint job, it is cracking and peeling worse than the paint on any car I've ever owned, even those over 20 years old. Parts are insanely expensive. A blower motor for the air conditioner is $550 for the part and $300 labor to replace. I replaced one on a Taurus for less than $300. The VSA control module is … $3,200, one sixth the price of the car, and that is the part without labor. While at the dealer, I overheard someone discussing an $11,000 transmission on a CR-V. The dealer also wanted $700 for a cargo cover that I can get for $55 aftermarket. It's a good car if you don't keep it too long, but you'd think you were driving a Bentley when the repairs start coming in.
