2018 BMW X2
I have mixed feelings about the 2018 BMW X2. It's decent - it's a BMW after all - but it is a long way away from what BMWs were or should be. The handling was mediocre, though slightly better in "sport mode" than in "normal mode," but it is definitely not a driver's car, and the blind spots that lots of reviews mention are terrible. Frankly, I was terrified even to change lanes on the … freeway/highway." The car I had also pulled sharply under hard acceleration, and the ride is really rough (probably the run-flat tires that BMW now puts on all its vehicles) and noisy. On the other hand, acceleration was fast and very smooth, and this car flies on the freeways: hitting the accelerator at 60 is amazing; all of a sudden you are going 90! Driving position is good, seats are comfortable, and bluetooth phone quality is excellent. I've had several BMW's over the years (a 1989 325, and a 2001 530) but compared to those the X2 was crap. I bought mine CPO and sold it after 3 weeks I disliked driving it so much! Buyer beware!
