Used 2010 Toyota Yaris Consumer Reviews
Consistency and reliability the highest
I purchased a 2010 Toyota Yaris 8 years ago with 60K miles. It now has 230K miles. During that time, I have commuted 110 miles each day from central MA to Boston, MA. No issues. Beside basic maintenance (tires, oil changes, brakes) I have done nothing to this car. It's reliable and starts right up. No issues in driving in the snow or other challenging weather. Very consistent basic commuter car that is well worth the price you pay for it.
Fun Car/GR8 MPG
Fun car to drive. Three fill ups to date: 36.7, 37.7 and 38.7 MPG. Lots of room. Pretty smooth ride. Got a GR8 deal and 5 Year 0% financing. What's not to like! An absolute winner! Wife thinks it's "really cute."

Traded an XB
Work at a Toyota dealer....Traded in an 06 XB which i loved but the 0% for 60 plus the same drive train which I trust made it irresistible. 36.9 mpg on the first tank. Surprised at the interior space..I'm 5'10" 240 fit just fine. Vehicle seems to search for it's spot in the lane at freeway speeds. Could be me though I had 17's on the XB. Overall a great car...Oh by the way my other car is an 2009 Audi A4
Great Second Car
I have owned my Yaris for a year. It's a great second car with all the features necessary to get around town.
I hate my Yaris
It is the most boring car I have ever driven and I have driven many cars. I traded a 2007 Mini Cooper for this dreadful vehicle. It's a huge effort to pass a car in front of me - it doesn't want to; its automatic transmission shifts first up, then down, then up again around 30 miles per hour on an un-level street; it has terrifying brakes that lock up; it won't track over 60 miles per hour (constantly fighting the steering wheel to keep the car in a straight line - very tiring); no comfortable place for my feet. I absolutely hate everything about it, except for the gas mileage - and yes, that's very good. I recommend new car buyers to steer clear of this one. Get a Mini Cooper instead.
