Best car we have ever owned so fat car

'We have owned out 2022 xle now for seven mo. and so far, it has been all that I expected. I have 8000 miles on it and the MPG keeps getting better. I do drive in ECO mode all the time with no lack of power in my opinion. Navigation would have been nice at this price level but not worth the extra $2000. I installed a Garmon that does all that for me and take it out when we are not traveling. We just returned from a 2000-mile trip and MPG was 46 even at 75 to 80 MPH at times. The ride and handling was more than expected. As for disappointments no power for the passenger side seating and the OEM tires {in the winter} is an issue. I will defiantly have to replace them this winter season with all-weather tires. We live in Pa and snow does not cope well with the summer tires. That said in dry road conditions they are just fine, no problem there. I am hoping the battery will last as advertised. Verry Happy and would purchase it again. UPDATE: After a lot of thought and a long search I porched a 2022 Venza XLE. This is my first hybrid but my 5th Toyota. I am very pleased with the quality of the car as well as the MPG, ride , quietness, and handling of the car. The only change I am making is new tires. Winter is about to arrive, and the OEM Bridgestone tires are not ample for western Pa snow. In the summer the tires performed very well but no traction in snow season. The add on for connection to alerts of $8 per mo., after one year is very disappointing and should not be a charge on a $38,000 car. I am also not a fan of a 10,000-mile oil change. All that said the car is the nicest one I have ever owned and plan to keep it for the remainder of my life. Well done, Toyota. Don D

Heat system issue

I have had Toyota cars for years and never been more satisfied. What is the problem with the heat? When I am in neutral the heat blows cold air even set on high 85. I am dissatisfied with this feature. It is unsafe in New England to not be able to depend on heat. Just learned when car is stationary 10 minutes heat turns offGREAT CAR

I like everything from the heads up speed limit to the heated steering wheel and seats. The moon roof is nice and big too. The limited has luxury and great gas mileage.

Mileage may vary

I appreciate the smooth ride, but have serious concerns about the real-world mileage and the initial quality. First saw the dealer after detecting two sources of rattle in the cabin. Not a problem. Then a piece of paint came off on the edge of the hood lid. Not a huge problem either, but still irritating. Then the rear-view camera began disconnecting. That's a real problem, especially when backing up in a dark alley but they are still struggling with it at the dealership. Finally, the mileage. I have been making 32 mpg give or take, and I'm not exactly a NASCAR driver. And the deteriorating eyesight isn't making it any brighter. That's better than most of the comparable gasoline powered vehicles, but it's nowhere near the 40 mpg advertised. Kind of disappointed at this juncture.
