Exceptional value for $27,200 for a new 2008 Tundra DC 5.7L 4WD bench seat long bed! This truck has taken me where only jeeps can go (major 4x4 trails) and got me back. Zero maintenance problems. 18 MPG on highway! I can seat 6 comfortably. Handicapped wife sleeps on back bench no problem! Power is amazing for stock. Tows 20' camper trailer as if it isn't even there! Note- I don't work for Toyota, I just LOVE the truck!

This is a great truck. I have the offroad package and I love the bilstein shock that come with it. I find if you inflate the tires a little above max. It doesn't bounce on the highway as much. Which is one thing some people complain about. The response of the engine is great. Overall a great truck

Interior design

2008 Toyota Tundra Tundra Grade 4dr Double Cab LB (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

I had a 2002 Tundra and decided to trade it in for an 08 and couldn't believe the size difference. It is very quiet, but seems to have more bounce to the suspension, which is not rough though. The interior change I hated to see go is the sun visor redesign, which has no pull out extension when turned to the driver window. The sun is always past it!! Also, the visor in front of the main visor is gone. Both of these in combination was the perfect sun block no matter where the sun was. Now I am blinded from front and side. The front visor is worthless as far as I am concerned. It is too short.

The 2008 Tundra is a fantastically well engineered vehicle. I use it to tow a large 2 horse BP trailer (loaded weight approximately 6700 lbs./ 600 lbs. tongue weight) to and from horse shows from Pennsylvania to Maine. It tows comfortably and most importantly safely. Fuel mileage while towing at interstate speeds is 11.5 mpg, non- towing 17.5 mpg. Very respectable fuel economy for this type of truck. Additionally I get positive comments everywhere I go on how nice the truck looks fitted with a Leer 100XL cap. I highly recommend this truck for towing & hauling.

I am 42 and I have owned 51 vehicles since 1984. I always thought Toyota had a bland design so I never bought until 2007. Now I LOVE Toyota. Seems all their efforts go into the important aspects of a vehicle, not "bells and whistles" I am so JACKED about my new Tundra and struggle to find anything significantly wrong. Just LOVE the Tundra!!!
