It is the first vehicle I ever bought new and it was well worth it. The car I drove before it was a Toyota Echo, so fuel economy is worse, but comfort is well worth it. It was a good buy, and I would recommend it to anyone.

It's a good truck that has a lot of power behind it. Also it handles like a car unlike most trucks that handle like its an 18 wheeler. The interior design is futuristic and sporty. This thing is rugged and seems like it can take a lot of beating.

My '05 Tacoma already has 7000 miles on her and has been from the Gulf Coast, to the top of the Rockies and back without a single hiccup. I get admiring looks everywhere I go and people always ask to look inside. The 4WD system is superior (did great in the deep snow) and the new composite bed is fantastic. Lots of clever interior storage space along with very comfortable seating for 5 adults. One time I got 24 mpg on the highway (had a tailwind), but I usually only average 18 mpg in the city. The performance of the V6 engine is very close to V8 in the Tundra, and it even has a cool, powerful sound when you accelerate. Get yourself one soon, only not in white... mine's white.

Watch out F-150 here come's Tacoma!

When I first purchased the car I was amazed at the size. Prior to purchasing I was only able to view the 4-cylinder 2 wheel drive models. Let me say that the 4-wheel drive Pre-runner V6 looks more like the size of a F-150 then anything else. The front end of this baby is intimidating. The grill looks hard and the fog lights are well placed. The skid plate on the underbody is shown off to make an amazing looking front end that anyone will be jealous over as you drive down the road. The power in this truck is very pleasing. The 245 horse's under the hood give great pick up and the torque is great for getting out of any tough situation (and I mean TOUGH)

I was looking for a reliable, comfortable truck that I could use as a daily driver in the city as well as for the "typical" uses for a truck. I have a dbl cab V6 A/T SB 4x2- TRD sport package and the ride is smooth and much less jarring than most other trucks I've driven. The engine is powerful and smooth, but a bit noisier than I expected. Gas mileage is a bit above average for other trucks in this class. The interior fit and finish is great, and it is nicely laid out and very functional. Sport seats are extremely comfortable and the back seat has plenty of room for passengers to ride along for more than just a quick outing like many of the competitors.
