Used 2000 Toyota Tacoma Consumer Reviews
Very Happy
Have had my Tacoma 4X4 for 1 and a half years and regard buying it as the best auto purchase I have yet made. It's been perfectly reliable and fun to drive. It's become routine for strangers to ask me how I like it and express their interest in buying one. The only drawbacks are driving in high wind, not too bad though, and the drivers seat/ console could be improved.
Good Dependable Truck
I would say that the truck is a little over priced for what it is, but this truck is very reliable, low maintanence, and a lot of fun for 4 wheeling in. It has great power when needed. Comfort was OK. The only problem we had was the passenger seat would not always lock in place, when I had to put the brakes on the seat would sometimes slide forward. Kinda scary... Overall good truck, nothing fancy.

Toyota Tacoma 2000
I love our Tacoma this is the second one we have owned, out first Tacoma was a 1997 Tacoma Single Cab, EXCELLENT!! But sold it to upgrade to a newer and "bigger" one, well at least we needed the extended cab. But I have nothing bad to say about this vehicle, it runs and is a great looking TRUCK!!
Truck Perfection
This truck was by far the best automobile I ever had. The only time I had it in the garage was when I got my oil changed. No problems whatsoever and I beat the heck out of it. I went off roading somewhat often and drove through 20" snowstorms with ease. Gas mileage was not great, but it is a 4X4 truck. I reccomend this truck to anyone. It fits three with ease, and it good for long trips. Never should have traded it in an my mustang.

This is everything you should expect from a cheap 4X4. It gets the job done, but it is uncomfortable as hell. I have ended up driving it long distances from time to time, and I didn't intend to do so when I bought it. Still, I knew what I was getting, and have no complaints. Come on, its a Toyota truck!
