Original Owner:)
I just read two other reviews which made me laugh because they represent exactly my feelings. I have a 2004 XLE and I bought it brand new (the only new car we have ever owned) straight off the truck in September of 2003. It currently has 170+K miles and other than the standard regular maintenance (oil changes every 4K miles, synthetic) and the automatic passenger door mechanism going out (I changed it MYSELF using an online tutorial and spent $150!!), we chose to replace the water pump when changing the timing belt. Just replaced wheel bearings and rotors. The car has been kept outside since it was new and the paint still looks great. The driver seat has one small crack in the leather on the side from being squished, but the 2nd and 3rd-row seats still look perfect after two kids, car seats and teenagers being in it. I kept bath mats in front of their seats until about a year ago, so the floor mats look new. I have hauled so many things, range, microwave, dishwasher (at the same time), sheets of plywood, 16' 1/4 round molding fit hanging out the passenger window, paddleboard on the top rack - you name it, I've carried it. Not to mention 5’ to 6’ tall volleyball boys. My kids give me so much “crap” for driving a minivan since the entire rest of the family drives Mercedes, but truly there is no other car want. Maybe I'll change when a new electric van comes out. Love this Van and I don't see any reason to ever get rid of it. It's comfortable, drives well, you have great viewing out all windows, there is plenty of headroom and legroom. Update! My Van just turned 200k! It’s still going strong and I still don’t see any other vehicle on the road that is as practical as my van. I picked up bags of soil and flats of flower yesterday, and I didn’t even need to drop the third row to load them all in. I’m still hoping Toyota comes out with an electric version! :)

Still Strong at 100K
My family has owned this car almost 10 years and its been an absolute champ. Other than routine maintenance and a few recalls, we've had to do a thing. Its been to and from mountains hauling kayaks, filled with dry wall and tools, and has been the primary delivery vehicle for our cake business. The drivers sliding door doesn't open automatically anymore but to be honest, I cant complain given the amount of use it has gotten. This would be a great used car to purchase.

2004 Sienna Big and tricked out
Love the comfort, and gagets they put into the everyday driving. Neat back seat that splits and stored away. love all the storage places for things.
Still chugging along after 13 1/2 years
We bought this 2004 model in the summer of 2003 and now have 165K miles on it. Very good reliability with minimal maintenance and repairs until after 10 years. Recent issues we've run into include the power door cables breaking, power steering rack leaking, and lower control arms breaking. Other than this we've changed the timing belt, spark plugs, and front brake pads (@50K and @100K) plus the usual maintenance items such as oil, filters and tires. Each set of tires has gone between 32K and 38K miles. It's still very comfortable and nice to drive. Hard to complain. The first 10 years were really repair-free and just basic maintenance.

Most Reliable Car Ever Owned
I have been driving the Sienna now for almost 7 years and people can't believe the car is that old. The exterior and interior looks incredible and the reliability has been outstanding. At 136,000 miles it still rides like a new car and has had virtually no mechanical problems. I had the spark plugs changed at 130,000 miles and the timing belt changed around 90,000, but other than those normal maintenance items I have had no repair bills with this car. This is the first Toyota I have owned and I am confident it will easily make 200,000 miles.
