The video panel in the middle of the console is unviewable in sunlight. That includes the backup camera. If there is direct sunlight hitting the screen you see nothing. The windows are very high in comparison to the seat height. It's hard to reach out the windows and grab something - like money at a drive up teller - without sticking your whole head out the window. I'm 5'7", so it's not a height issue. The ride is very comfortable and quiet. It handles GREAT on the road. Gas mileage is average. Rear window visibility is a little impaired by its size and the rear seat headrests. The front seat area is a little crowded but there are only two cup holders and one of them is literally UNDER the dash. You can get to it ok, but D for placement.

Just 3 months old with 3000 miles. Already repaired twice, once for rubbery brakes and for tailgate being jammed. Worst service experience in Avenel, NJ. Highly disappointed with Toyota quality and experience about which I had heard a lot. Even with 90% highway driving, giving only 23

Love my new HOT LAVA rav4 SE MODEL. Just love it. It has smooth ride, awesome features, great color, nice shape (i hate the round- van looking SUV'S) either make a van or an suv... has great warranty as well i hope to drive it for a long time!!!

When going down a snow cover road the two front door fill inside the door with a lot of snow and slush inside .They is a very bad cool brezze coming from front doors into the car when driving down the street

Don't be fool by the look of this 2016 rav4. Car feels very cheap. Try closing and opening the door several times, changing volume knobs, temperature knobs, and adjusting the air vents , you will know they put a lot cheap materials in this car. Car makes loud noise when shifting from P to D. It also makes weird noise in the back of the car after I stop the car completely.
