Used 2010 Toyota Prius Consumer Reviews
Can't get better
I can't say enough good about this car. For those wanting a high performance car go somewhere else and get a guzzler if you want a car that is solid, rides well, and most of all feels luxurious at the gas pump by the king of mileage, this is it. We weren't reluctant with this car at all because this is the 11th year of production, Toyota got this right!
Improvements a ten!
Researched vehicle thoroughly. Decided on a 2010 over the 2009 due to many upgrades. People will find the 2010 more comfortable, smoother (no sudden jumps in acceleration) and more responsive in steering. Test drove the 2009 too many times to count, but one test drive of the 2010 was good enough for my wife and I! I've only had the car for several days and am having fun with all the fuel consumption monitoring. Heck with what all the experts are saying, this car is FUN to drive!

2010 Prius IV Low gas mileaage
I purchased my 2010 in october of 2010 and car is ok, but a few design flows, like heated seats under center dash, vision do not extend, no power seats. I have been tracking the mileage fo car since purchase and only average 40.13 mpg after 17 tanks and 7000 miles. Not happy with that at all. The only time the cars has seen 50 + mpg is costing down hill for about 30 miles. dealer said t put premium gas in to increase mpg, if I wante dto put premium gas in a car I have my Lexus for that, not this Prius. The sticker says nothing about having to use high grade gas to get 50 mpg. It's a very misleading sticker and advertising from Toyota. Quaility not what is use to be either.
Good and boring
I have put close to 6K on the Prius in 3 months. Good interior room, great mileage, however, you can't set the cruise on hills and expect good mileage. I use the least expensive gasoline which has 10% ethanol. Mileage keeps getting better, consistently around 52. Gets better mileage on the road than in town. The good thing about the Prius is it makes my 99 Ford F150 feel like a rocket ship! If you are looking for an OK ride, good interior room, problem free driving with fantastic mileage, get the Prius. If you want a performance car...don't! No service problems as of yet. All in all, a good boring car.
