I first rented this car last summer for 2 weeks and was sad when I had to return it. At that time I decided it would be my next car. It drives like a peppy small car but with the fold down seats it is like a small truck. it carries everything I need for remodeling projects or just fun shopping trips!

I love this car. It is fun to drive and it has great performance. At today's gas prices it fuel economy is greatly appreciated. I like the way the seats fold down to allow room to carry all sorts of things.

My first foreign car. I love it! Great mileage, ease of handling, eye catcher. Hope to have it a long time.

I love this car. My girlfriend and I looked at everything from the Jeep Grand Cherokee to the VW jetta TDI and we settled on the matrix because it is the perfect blend of fun, function, and value!

More car than you may think

I actually bought one of the first cars on the lot in 2/2002, so I've had it for nearly two years - folks still think it's brand new! Surprisingly roomy interior - fits 5 adults comfortably, to say nothing of hauling $3,000 in fundraiser candy! Very sporty handling, with "sexy" 6 speed manual transmission (teenage boys are deeply impressed by it). It's been an absolute kick to zip around in, and is a real head turner. My 16 year old son made me test drive it, and that's all it took.
