Used 2003 Toyota Matrix Consumer Reviews
WISH I HAD GOTTEN A MURANO(NISSAN)
I WISH I HAD GOTTEN A MURANO FOR THE MONEY, IT IS A NICE CAR BUT DOES NOT HAVE VERY GOOD PICK=UP AND IT HAS POOR CRAFTMANSHIP ... THING RATTLE WHEN DRIVING.GLOVE COMPRTMT, SEATS AND A LOT OF OUTSIDE NOISE. MY OLD CAR WAS A VOLVO OF 10 YRS.
Cheap Parts, No Service
I've put over 20K miles on this car, driving it over 100 miles daily. It zips through traffic and handles satisfactory. I am disappointed in Toyota build quality and the service you get from a dealership. CD player went out almost immediately. Brakes wore out (and we don't ride them) too early. The cheap tires are unreal! Impressed with safety tests. Would recommend this car to young set.

A Fun Car to Drive, Easy to own.
I have had a very good experiance overall with this vehicle. The service has been easy and Toyota has been very helpful....now as for the car itself. This car makes the drive to work fun. You can haul just about anything in it because all the seats fold down and there is a huge cargo space in the back.....it's surprising how much space there is. Perfect car for a chic in her 20's....space to haul, space for friends, awesome sound system just enough power to put some guys in their place. :^) I'm 21 and I can afford this car, it looks good for work, works great for play. I think the value of this car vs. the price comes out to equal a great buy!!
my opinion
the quality is toyota through and through........i love what you do for me-toyota.
Test Drive
Based on a test drive, I feel that the matrix is a very well-designed car. It is versatile (folding the front passenger seat and the back seats down provides room for a lot of stuff), and it is sporty (good acceleration & braking, and a smooth but slightly firm ride). The two things that impressed me the most were the roomy feel (decent back seat leg room and good head room) and the ride (much smoother than expected).
