I am 5ft 3 in tall, this car is way too big for me. I feel like a mini kid, the seats are very large, controls are too far away, the seat will not go high enough for me. the *biggest* problem is I need the seat forward and then to look out the front side windows, the side mirrors are very large and take up some viewing space..... making it very difficult to see if someone is about to cross in front of the car. I have the 2105 Limited. I suggest you test drive this car in a lot of different areas/roads, check all forward blind spots.... no problem with rear or back side blind spots because it has the blind spot indicator Radio is static, no mute button, only pause. Navigation is very slow. USB port is so far under & back, it's hard to insert. Update, at 70k now my 6ft son drives it. Update- at 115k I drive it again now daily , the car drives exactly the same as the day we drove it off the Toyota lot..

Mickey Mouse Toyota NAV

I had ordered a new 2011 Toyota Trundra SRS. Beautiful truck but I had to carry a Garmin Nav with me because the one I payed $1,600.00 extra for, that could not find a Toyota dealership that was only 5 miles from me was Junk. I then bought a 2012 Camry XLE. This NAV not to bad. I ordered a new 2015 Highlander, what a piece of crap. You cannot use it when you start moving just like the others but this one is so slow you go by the turn and then it tells you to turn. I want to shut off the screen because I really don't want to look at it. I was in Page AZ on vacation. On my way home I set the Nav for my house in Saratoga Springs UT. It had me driving south and the does not show all the roads within 30 miles just the one I was on and not the rt #. After 35 miles I believed I was going the wrong way, I was lost. I pulled over very upset. I started to think what to do, I thought maybe I had put the Garmin in the center consul that I had in my Trundra and there it was my beautiful Garmin. I connected it up and could see all the roads with #. I turned the car around and went back home no problem. I am trading to a Acura MDX. P.S. I also own a 2010 Acura TL w/NAV If you own a Toyota with a NAV please carry a Garmin. Your cell phone is better then any Toyota NAV but sometimes you cannot get a signal. I don't need to carry a spare Garmin in my Acura because it is a Garmin. My Honda motorcycle is a Garmin.

Highlander: Not worth price

A consistent problem with Bluetooth and screen freezing while driving down the road. GPS is not user friendly and freezes up also. To unfreeze, you have to pull over and restart car. The seats are very uncomfortable in front when traveling. Toyota is cheap to not have passenger seat powered like drivers side seat in XLE. Have had constant issues with powered hatch not working and hanging up. The hatch will not close and you have to force to close at times. The power to hatch is very weak and dealership keeps making excuses about fixing and does not after several attempts. I had to pay extra to have fuel injectors cleaned, which is of course not covered under extended warranty that was purchased. We were told this would make car run more efficiently. It did with the first tank of gas and then didn't notice any difference after paying 180.00! The interior plastic scratches very easily! Cheap!!! I will never buy another Toyota!
