Used 2015 Toyota Highlander Consumer Reviews
over priced uncomfortable and not user friendly
The Nav. system is a total disaster to the point of being a danger to use.The seats are like concrete and the passenger seat does not articulate. the remote start has no range and works maybe one out of ten tries. The Hwy Mpg is about the same as my 400 hp 2014 Ram 5.7 Hemi PU and worse than the 5.3 V8 Envoy we traded in.The tire pressure monitor has no gage. Hey dumb ass witch tire is low? No oil pressure gage or volt meter? What is this 1959? Dome lights put out about 2 watts and the factory hitch looks like it was put in with a chain saw. Radar cruise control or the manual resume takes a week to regain the loss of speed. We just returned from a 2000 mile trip in this brand new car and my wife and I have never hated a car more. I have owned at least 25 new cars in my life and have never been so disappointed. I do not care how much it cost. This turd is gone! We still have this turd because it has big enough rear doors and is low enough for my semi invalid 94 year old Mother in-law to get in and out of.As soon as she is gone, this thing will also be gone!

Upset and disappointed
So I purchased this truck brand new 5weeks ago. It gave me a warning as I'm driving on the high to pull over emergency shut down is taking place. Took the truck to the service department to find out that I'm having issues with the ECU dealing with the ENGINE.

2015 Toyota Highlander Less than 20,000 miles
I Purchased a 2015 Toyota Highlander with less than 20,000 miles from the dealership. I'm the second owner. The Dealer considers this new but we all know this is used. The SUV was in great condition- near new with only a few chips in the paint job. It was the best priced deal I could find for the quality and reliability. Now for the things I don't like; this things was gutless when I got it. The vehicle is not responsive when you it the gas and after you punch it the vehicle is slow to accelerate. The front seats could double as a some form of slow torture device because after driving for more than an hour my rear end feels like something between asleep and achy. I have never felt anything like this nor do I want anyone else to feel this sensation. The climate controls in this SUV are just awful- there aren't even numbers on the dials- this is like a nightmare from the 70's and 80's when cars had sliding nobs. Steering could have a better feel the turning radios is good but this thing handles like a bus overall. The Toyota Dealers I have visited are nothing to write home about- they just want your money and it's obvious. Things I rated high were as follows the Bluetooth- wow they got this right! My iphone synced up well and has never had a problem. The phone controls on the steering wheel a good too. The Trip Computer is great! You can monitor your mpg if this is something you're into. Lastly the ergonomics of the entertainment unit at the center of the front dash is simple quick and easy to understand and learn- I have not seen better (I also own an Acura MDX). Oh and I chose to purchase this vehicle over the GMC Acadia due to the power steering issue they tend to have. I also chose to purchase this over another Acura MDX. In my opinion the reliability of the Toyota out weighs the sleekness of the over rated over priced Acura MDX that I already own. Lastly the MDX has only 30 more horse power than the Toyota so the MDX is lackluster in my opinion in the acceleration department. - Update. I've owned this vehicle for more than a 6 months now I'm working to have the front seat upgraded as it's extremely uncomfortable but it has broken in some.

Nicely improved from previous model
I just traded in my 2013 limited for a 2015 limited. Nice re-design Toyota! The drive is substantially better with a tighter turning radius, much less body roll when cornering and traction control along with a new 6 speed automatic transmission. The new styling also improved. The outside is much more stylish. The interior space has improved with more rear space for storage when the third row is in use. Seating improved offering more support along with ventilated front seats. Toyota has added 'one touch' windows to four instead of just the driver. Memory driver seats make me comfortable knowing I can get my exact setting after my wife drives the car.
