2013 highlander limited used
Just picked it up. Super ride and comfort. Tech.package voice activated ( we're learning). I have a 2001 4runner we kept, and traded a 2009 Avalon xl with 62 k on the clock for the highlander. If this vehicle performs like my others we will be very pleased. This was a lease car turn in with 20 k miles, price was right. Bennett Toyota in Allentown Pa very nice people to do business with. As for Tom Doherty. To date the Highlander has no issues. Milage is at 34,000. New tires installed. 9/18 no issues so far. 9/19/2021 45600 miles. Normal maintenance oil changes and so forth. We did replace rear strut leaking. Brakes all 4 wheels. No other issues.

Great car, not true it can tow 5,000 lbs
I love this vehicle, it is beautiful, drives like a car but moves 6 people. I am writing this review to alert others of a problem about towing. Toyota says that, with a towing package, the 3.5 L V6 Highlander can tow 5,000 lbs. But the package comes with a 4-pin electrical trailer connector which has no connection for electrical brakes. In Canada, it is illegal to tow more than 3,000 lbs without trailer brakes. Toyota cannot install a 7-pin connector on the Highlander. Therefore, Toyota's claim of a 5,000 lbs towing capacity is UNTRUE. The true towing capacity is less than 3,000 lbs.

Love my highlander
It's great on gas. Heavy solid car. Toyota makes dependable cars. Was absolutely Perfect for my needs but now need additional/large cargo space. I'm so sad that I will be trading it in. It's an outstanding car !

poor seating
I traded in a buick enclave, huge mistake!!! the ride quality, interior noise is terrible. Toyota should be ashamed of the poor seat quality on the front seats,i have put 300$ in the drivers seat at a custom shop to get it where it is even acceptable. the noise level inside at highway speeds is bad at best.for a car in this price range Toyota needs to get their game on. i'm back to buick!

Toyota's are No longer quality!!
Right before my warranty ended I had to get both front door locks replaced!!! After warranty like by 1000 miles my back passenger door lock quit working. Now I'm at 56,000 miles and both front door locks are dying again. I had to have rearbrakes replaced at 25,000 miles. I always got 50 to 60,000 miles out of back brakes from my last 2003 highlander. Toyota will not fix these issues, they do not see these items as defective but regular wear and tear. Total b.s. Steering wheel could go higher or seat to go back smothering or 2 would be ideal. Seat belt being bigger would be nice and head rest on the seats aren't comfortable.
