Just picked up a 2022 Toyota Corolla hatchback S base model and let me tell you how impressed I am, it’s smooth, peppy/zippy and fun to drive and 40+ MPG observed right away!! Super impressed with this car! Thank you Toyota for making such a great car at a great price!!

I chose the Corolla Hatchback based on the gas mileage, which was the best in its group, despite reviews that it was boring to drive and had limited cargo space. The cargo space is definitely limited-- it is more shallow that that in my previous car which was a smaller hatchback from a competitor that was recently discontinued in the US. You have to be careful loading the back of this car with tall bags because it can limit your ability to see out of the rear-view mirror. However, even with this drawback I still love this car. It handles beautifully for a small car in this price point. The acceleration is far better than in my previous car, and the whole think just feels more solid. Additionally, a switch lets you drive in Eco, normal or sport mode, so you can be as sporty or as thrifty as you want to be. The driver's seat is VERY comfortable with great lumbar support. The steering wheel is 100% adjustable, which adds to the comfort, especially for the height-challenged driver. I don't really care about the tech elements, but the display and connectivity seem to be quite good. There is also a feature that allows you to call someone in an emergency. I don't know the extent to which this is common at this price point, but it was not in my previous car, and it is a nice safety feature.

Super sleek and sporty, has tons of room for all the stuff we trek around. Drives with some zip. All the bells and whistles that make us happy! A really happy teen owns this one and surely it will last a long time

These cars all ride like Cadillacs plenty of leg room in the back they are very quiet I like them cuz they have disc brakes all the way around and they have all the safety features

Let's face it all these cars are pretty damm similar. Toyota has quality, reputation, dependably and value. Nice touch screen up front, nice ride, decent leg room up front.
