Used 2013 Subaru Forester Consumer Reviews
Reliability
Drive before you buy. Did not know I had to spend lots of money to install XM unit. Needs more insulation for less noise.

A manual in an automatic world
It is real to find a manual these days. The Forest shifts great with out a lot of clutch pressure. The four cylinder is not what I would call major horse power, but the economy in fuel milage is great. Interior is room, even the backseat leg room is decent. Rear seat (split bench) folds flat and does not cram up against the front seats, thus still legroom upfront. Not a lot of bells and whistles on this Subaru which I consider a plus, less things that can go wrong and cost a lot to fix. Down side, I do not like the sound of the door lock with the remote, it chirps and not a pleasant chirp in my opinion.
