Used 2016 Scion iM Consumer Reviews
My iM
I like be my little IM. It is my third scion and have been faithful to the brand for 11 years now. Only complaints are that TRD does not have any REAL performance parts available for it and the acceleration is lousy.

A lot of car for the money
The iM is a great car for the money. Well equipped for its price point with all of the reliability the Toyota Corolla is known for. Looks nicer than the Corolla, and handles better too. The rear seat is roomier on the Corolla, but for my son, commuting back and forth to college, its not an issue. Update: This is now my car. My son got a new Toyota CHR (he loves it), so the iM has become my commute car. It does very well for this purpose. I average 40.4 MPG in mixed driving. I commute over 100 miles a day, so I pack on the miles. My commute is horrible, with a lot of it just stopping and creeping along, so it is more like town driving. No trouble with the car, as I expect from a Toyota.

Great car!!!!
I just purchased a new Scion iM the car handles great and gets excellent gas mileage. The nice thing about this car is it comes loaded with options like heated power folding mirrors, leather wrapped steering wheel, touchscreen radio with back up camera and Bluetooth. The car isn't super fast nor did I buy it for that reason if I wanted a fast car I would bought a corvette, any way I'm pleased with my purchase.

The Loyal Blueberry
Bought my '16 Scion IM April of '22 from an estate sale. Sold my 2004 Accord since I wanted to try having a "newish" car and do uber on the side. 2 months after i left my main job to do Uber full time and the car has been great. Its comfy enough for 4 people, 600 - 700 km per tank of gas, optional Navigation has gotten me home from places with no cell reception. the Electric storm blue makes the car look more expensive. only thing thats gone wrong was a 40$ hood cable and a burned out headlight. which is really nothing other than normal wear and tear. Although my old Accord had a little more power and just more "car" in general, its an apples to oranges comparison since the accord is a midsize and the scion is an economy hatchback just above the Yaris. I wouldnt mind a little more pep (happy with the good old 1.8 overall) Heated seats (following year had it standard) and one more power outlet. also not a fan of the paper oil filters Anyway, in the 2 years i've had it its been great to me, fun to drive, easy on the wallet and uber riders give me compliments every day on it. as long as I keep it rustproofed and maintained I do think its possible to get 20 years out of this car. thanks for reading.

Bought mine back in 2018
Solid car. All the space and a good base for a tuner. Sure you might need to dig a bit to find pieces that match. But the CT200 shares the same frame. Zippy, very responsive steering, and brakes like a dream. Yeah the backseat is a littlw cramped for legroom, but it does the job. Had someone run a red light while i was on green. Airbags and front crumplezone worked exactly as they were intended to. God Bless Scion/Toyota for making a fun, safe, reliable, and economic car without sacrificing style. Otherwise I'd be dead.
