True driver's car

The review is actually for a Canadian version of Pontiac G6 SE with Performance Package (3.5L 224-hp V6, hydraulic steering, fog lights; ABS, curtain-side airbags come standard). Purchased just a month ago, and I still can't get over a very competent sporty ride, solid build, just the right suspension, firm cornering, and loads of torque for sudden acceleration. Very roomy too, and all controls are nicely placed. The car is a pleasure to look at and a joy to drive!

I absolutely love my G6! I recently moved from the north, and when I bought it over a year ago, barely anyone owned this car. Now having moved to south, I see more people with it, but I still feel good driving mine. This was my fourth car in less than 3 years, and I love it the best! Like another person said, this is the first car I am not sick of driving within the first few months. I love the design because it's sleek and smooth. I would not trade this car in for anything, and I can not wait to see how the G6 evolves over the next few years.

Not terrible but I wouldn't consider this car a winner.

I bought it used with 50k miles on it. Steering problem which the dealer fixed. The XM Radio transmitter on the roof leaks sometimes into my light and sunroof button and onto my shifter. Overall poorly build on the inside. The mechanics seem fine for now, no major problems...at 76k miles now. I'll probably keep it until it dies...maybe I'll be able to get it up to 120k...that would be ideal. Nice cheap car, but I should have done more research and I probably would have bought another car if I did...

I was sorry to hear all the bad reviews! I bought my 2007 G6 brand new and I haven't had any problems out of it! It drives great and I get great gas mileage! I love the interior and the exterior. The lighting inside is great. The car has a total of 52000 miles and is still going strong! I have even been rear ended and the car was repaired and I haven't had any problems still! This was a wonderful investment!

original owner, intermediat steering shaft, brakes and now in shop for intake gasket leaking oil. It's all covered but would be Pist if I had to pay out of pocket. Dealer set me up with a rental car and less than 1 day to fix each time. I like the car and handles good with good power. The 6 speeds are way over rated I have 4sp A/T and have logged 32MPG loaded down on our trip to Canada with A/C cranking (72MPH). All vehicles have issue just look them up. I work for import car company and they also have issues some worse some better. MPG on the imports are about the same give/take. With demand for MPG 8 speeds, dual clutch and more CVT transmisisons. Little improvement, heavy and big $$$$
