Liz's Versa in Tulsa, OK.
After three months of research, I purchased a Versa S Model in March, 2008. It's been the best car purchase I've ever made. I've getting 28-36 miles per gallon (75% hwy, 25% city). I took it to Kansas City recently and upon arrival, I still had 1/3 tank of gas left. It's comfortable, roomy, drives great, has many safety features & cruise; all the basics I wanted for $14K. This was my budget and anything extra I considered a luxury I didn't really need. After reading negative reviews regarding the Blue Tooth incompatibility problems, I am glad I didn't purchase the SL Model. On the other hand, it would be nice to have the ABS brakes just for extra protection. I'd recommend the Versa S
My Versa is nice, but...
My Versa is nice but, the horsepower is really low. I think I notice it more at take off. The gas mileage is great. When gas is 2.069 per gallon it only cost twenty dollars to fill up. I do wish they would add two more gallons to the tank. The radio is nice but if you want loud its not gonna happen. The design is what sold me, the overall look is great.

I Love My Car!
I test drove a Scion xD and a Honda Fit before this one, and I fell in love immediately with the Versa. It's amazingly roomy, drives very smoothly at highway speeds (compared to other cars in it's class) and is cute but not too cute like the Fit and Yaris are. I get good gas mileage, about 34 mpg with 60% highway 40% city driving. The model I bought has neat extras like audio and cruise controls on the steering wheel, armrest, etc. My fiancee loves how roomy it is, and I can fit both our bikes in the back easily. I think this is an underrated little car and a GREAT value!
Excellent Value
I traded in a minivan for the Versa when gas prices neared $4 a gallon in 2008. I researched hatchbacks and visited countless dealerships & was impressed with the Versa's features for the price. My husband was impressed with the get-up-and-go acceleration. We have a 13-year-old son and he finds the back seat roomy even with all his school gear and gaming supplies. I think the exterior is appealing & have even had 3 different people ask me for information about the car in parking lots. We told our boy that when he turns 16 he can choose between my Versa or my husband's Frontier truck & he can't make up his mind!
Happy new Owner
I am replacing a 2002 Nissan Sentra (which I LOVED) and after test driving several competitors I came back to Nissan. I also drove the mid-level Sentra and the Versa has a much better interior layout. LOVE my bluetooth phone and intelligent key. As a small business owner, this feature is a lifesaver and worth every cent! The ABS upgrade has also paid for itself with a $300 per six months savings on my car insurance over the old Sentra. Car is peppy and ROOMY.. almost like the fabled Tardis.. way bigger inside than it looks! I plan to drive this car for 10 years and think it will be a happy love affair.
