Used 2000 Nissan Sentra Consumer Reviews
Stick with a Honda
5 recalls and God only knows if they will stop. This does not include sensors that fail and are not part of the recalls most recent sensor failure $137.00 for the sensor and $170.00 for the labor and of course Tax. This car has only 43000 miles.
One Problem After Another
Avoid the 2000 Nissan Sentra at all cost. I have already put a new transmission in and just spent around $1,000 to get an inspection sticker. I found out that the car was assembled in Mexico. I will never buy another Nissan.
I love this car!!!!!!
I bought this car used over a year ago and i love it. It has great pick up for a 126 hp 4 speed automatic. It did have about 3 recalls but the dealership did all 3 in one visit. I do have one complaint. There is this chirping/squealing coming from under the hood. Other than that, this is a great car.
My Research Proves Out
I looked at and test drove many cars in the $12k-$15k range, and this one came out the best. After 15k miles, it's been a fantastic choice. Lots of zip and fun to drive. Dash layout is good. Build quality is 100% so far.
My little charcoal GXE
I needed a car in a hurry when my eight-year old Mazda blew up, so I looked at everything available. I found a really great clearance deal on a 2000 GXE, compared power/ weight/price ratios with Mazda, Toyota, and Honda, and bought bought the Nissan. Once I got used to the someone wimpy 5-speed shifter, I fell in love with the car.
