Used 2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Beautiful car, noisy ride
I love the look of the car. It's very roomy, and has alot of great features. Love the headlights, quad exhaust, telescope wheel and Nav system. However, I am very disappointed with road noise. You can hear and feel every crack in the road. My husband's pickup is a much quieter ride. Some people say they love the quiet, smooth ride. I don't have that. Is there something wrong with my car, or is it just me. I had a Lincoln Mark VIII which gave a very stiff ride, but MUCH quieter. Paid 26,000 for the Max, used, and 18,000 for the Lincoln when it was 2yrs old. For the money spent on the Max, I expected to ride a lot quieter.
2004 Maxima
After 3 weeks of driving this car, I'm still impressed by everything about it except the milage. We have been doing a lot of stop & go driving and are getting about 18 mpg. The attention this car gets is great. The roomy, heated, leather seats, the trunk, the dash, the sound system is all you can ask for in a car like this one. The cabin is quiet and the car handles well on the road. It's like riding on air!!!

Real Step Up
This is my 3rd Maxima (I lease a new one every three years) and the SL is such a step up from my loaded 2000 GLE, it feels like I moved up to the power and performance I would expect from a $50,000 car. Sticker Price- $31,900. People stop and look and ask questions. Quiet, fast and luxurious..
Best car I have owned
Great car, fast, fun to drive, handles well, I am 6'3'' and have plenty of room in the drivers seat and could ride in the back seat comfortably. Compares favorably with the Acura TL but with more room. Many amenities, heated steering wheel, automatic folding mirrors, verital sun roof, nice display of car functions, friends envy it
Awesome!
Love it! love it! love it! I've owned mine for two years. The only thing I would change is the cup holders in the back should be larger. they only accommodate a cup the size of a soda can. bummer for the kids. other than that...LOVE IT!
