Used 2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Great looks. Fun to drive.
After years of buying Toyota Camrys, I switched to the Nissan Maxima this year because of its much sharper styling and quality features -- such as the DVD Navigation System -- not available in the Camry. The car is solid, quiet, quick, fun to drive, and looks great.
Good but not great
This vehicle is probably a great car for a young adult, but for a middle aged person it is not smooth enough over rough roads. I can't wait to return to the luxury class I got used to. I am willing to give up the performance for the smooth ride.

Nice car
I have been a Camry owner for the last 20 years. But I liked the luxury and handling of the Maxima and the price was right. It is my first real luxury car and I love all the bells and whistles. It is a pleasure to drive. The downers are very wide turning radius, back window is small and slanted reducing visibility and glare from dashboard on front windshield is distracting.
GREAT CAR BUT.......
I love my new Maxima Sl, Love the heated steering wheel and heated seats for those cold days, Car handles great, controlablity arounf turns excellent, But, I wouldn't buy this car from Nissan 112 . The salesperson who sold me the car was rude and inconsiderate, wants to rush you with the sale and presures you to take the car home ASAP so he can get paid on his Commission, plus the day I was to take home the car, they added on to the sale price of my car that we agreed on, and added on alot of other misc. charges.
maxima sl 2004
over all i am very satisefied with the car. i wish i had gotten the 5 speed auto trans, just to give myself the option of shifting manualy.
