Very capable under rated truck
Spent several months researching & test driving midsize trucks and purchased a used 2019 Frontier with 18k miles. It lacks tech but in return offers proven dependability, body on frame construction, 2 speed transfer case and factory transmission cooler. Creature comforts like heated seats and zone climate control are a bonus on mid level trim. Front seat comfort and support is superior to it’s peers. The cab is quiet and ride is smooth. I stream music from my IPhone and use an external gps. The truck is everything I need, nothing I don’t, and by far the best value in the midsize truck segment. The truck drives like a sedan in comparison to my beloved Silverado. The Frontier is USA built in Mississippi.

It's a truck, not the best MPG
Replaced 4 Cyl. RAM Promaster City, (not needed anymore) with used 2019 Nissan crew cab Frontier with 6 cyl engine. Do miss the better gas mileage of the Promaster City. Getting only 18 MPG for the Nissan in mostly rural driving. Frontier is much quieter with smoother but noticeably heavier ride. A few things are annoying or odd. 1) You have to reach way out to reach the handle to close the door. Would be better if the interior door handle was placed in the middle or more "forward" on the door. 2) The downhill assist works by light automatic application of the breaks. Had an old Ford F250 with downhill assist that worked via the automatic transmission - it prevented the transmission from upshifting. I think that is a better solution that would not overheat brakes on long downhill grades.3) As with most newer vehicles, no CD player built in. 4). LCD panel on radio has only two brightness settings, Night and Day. Night setting too bright.
Sweet truck
The first Nissan I ever owned, glad I upgraded to the PRO 4x. Got everything thing we need inside and it will go anywhere. Pull 16’ foot don’t even know it’s back there. Gas mileage average 19mpg. The only I don’t like is it seams harder to remove all the bugs from grill and front bumper.
