This is my first Benz and what a great looking car!!! It has plenty of power to get to where you are going and handles great. The appearance package is a must and definitely get chrome rims. The interior is much better looking compared to the BMW's interior. This car is total CLASS!!!

I've owned the car now for 3 1/2 months and I couldn't be happier!!! I waited a while before posting so that I could give an accurate and honest rating. The 320 is truly a head turner! It's a pleasure to drive, handling is nibble and acceleration is actually quite good for 215 horses. (I used to drive a BMW 540i with 284 horses) I've had no problems at all so far (watch, I just jinxed my self). I love the ease and quick operation of the soft top. Also very comfortable backseats for my 4 year old! If you're thinking of buying, I don't think you'll be disappointed!!

I love my CLK 500 but in the snow.. its a no go... make sure to realize this if you live in an area that receives lots of snow. 1 inch is one inch too many for the CLK-500.... other than that it is a great car with a terrific engine...

This car has all the bells, whistles, toys, etc!!! It seems that everything was thought of on this model. PRO: The car itself. It is built well, zero problems so far. After breaking in, the car seems to adapt to your driving style in an almost eerie manner. It is almost like it can read minds... CON: The fuel mileage is horrid but I knew what I was getting into at the altar!! Other than that, this thing is great!!!

I had a CLK coupe prior, and this is a wonderful improvement! It handles like a dream, and feels great to be in. It's very comfortable, and roomier than the prior version. People are always giving compliments are coming over to take a closer look. I do suggest getting the power trunk closer, as the trunk lid is more difficult to handle than it's predessor.

This has been my dream car from the moment I saw it years ago. And I finally got one. It is sporty, handles extremely well, just an overall fun and powerful car. I absolutely love it!!!! But as a mother of 3 boys I had to keep a second car. This one is just not made for a family. But I still LOVE it!!!

love this car. I traded in my 2000 Clk 430 for the 500. Big performance improvement and body stiffness (not that the 430 was bad at all). design is not as aggressive as the 430 but grows on you...cleaner styling.

Couldn't get a cooler car! My only complaints are that I feel like my car guzzles gas more than our large Navigator and that the inside doesn't have enough bells & whistles. But I feel so awesome in my new ride. It's fast, sleek and sexy. And don't get the 320 - gotta get more power in the 500.

I thought I was in love before with my 2002 CLK 430, but nothing compares to this ride. I was kind of skeptical, only because the 2002 model seemed a bit more sleek from the back, but once yiu ride it, nothing compares to it.

Great car. I had a '99 CLK320 and there is no comparison with this car - more performance and refinement. Only slightly negative so far is the ventilation system which seems to add a lot of engine heat.

at first sieght it took a little getting used to, since the previus model was so "mercedes" but once the newnes took on i loved when i drive with the open look all windows down the only thing that compares is the cl500, check the bmw 6 at almost twice the $$$ and no back seat, and as good lookig as the 6 is i still go for the clk. for practicallity and value, even if the depreciation factor in not taken into accaunt. to judge by previos 6 and the 7 get ready for a bath.and i can not stand the i drive

I have had 11 BMWs including 3 seies coupes and convertibles, 6 series, 7 series including a 750. This cars performance and styling has finally approciated and now exceeded what is available from BMW. The designers finally put together a package which I have been waiting for. Speed, looks and reliability.

I purchased a 2004 CLK500 at Barrier in Bellevue, Wash., in June 2004. I have owned and driven several German automobiles in the past and this blows them all away. The styling draws attention wherever I go, and the performance and ride are incredible. This is by far the best car I have ever had.

Not as aggressive as BMW, not as soft as Lexus. Great combination of performnce and Luxury in a super attractive package. Looked at this car because ticked off at BMW service over petty problem...now glad of it! Still, nothing quite handles like BMW, CLK comes close and is much, much more functional. PLUS< DEALER WILLING TO NEGOTIATE unlike BMW who always seem to have take it or leave it attitude, even with current owners(used to be 2 in our case)

This has been a treat. I did the European delivery program and the trip was amazing. I feel bad that we have speed limits in America. This car was phenomenal on the autobahn. AT 130mph, I put it on cruise control and I could take any curve easily. The stability on it was amazing and I loved racing with BMWs and blowing the hell out of them. I did pay the price as I had to gas every day for over $100 each time but it was worth it.

This V8 powered luxury coupe is a blast. Rockets to cruising speed and handles and brakes with solid confidence. Not up to BMW standards of drivability and certainly not your BORING Japanesse softness, so a great compromise between performance and luxury. It IS a Mercedes so a great ride..plus the dealer was willing to deal! Not the take it or leave it BMW attitude. I have owned several but they lost me this time.

This 2 door pillarless hardtop is a gorgeous example of an ultra modern luxury sports car that provides the open air look and fun of the bygone era of 2 door hardtops. This car turns heads for second looks, especially when all four windows are down. Performance and handling are outstanding, yet refined, so that you know you are driving a Mercedes at all times. I haven't found a thing yet to complain about; it's great.

I've owned my 2004 CLK cabriolet since new and use it for trips and top down driving. It's not my daily driver. I like the pickup in sport mode, the ride free of cowl shake and the looks with the top down. Luggage space is sparse unless the top is up. The optional AMG seating with more thigh and back support, heating and cooling and more controls is a must for tall drivers. Overall, I am very satisfied and have had zero defects or recalls.

I have never had a single problem. I was a bit disappointed by the slower acceleration (no outrunning cops in this thing!), but the interior is luxurious and beautiful, and features like GPS, voice-command, and three seperate buttons for 24/7 services (mechanical support, emergency, and personal assistant--which is there to get concert tickets/make reservations/recommend hotels & restaurants) are sweet. And it's also a status symbol...driving a Mercedes means something to me and to my clients.

This is my fifteenth Mercedes Benz and it surpasses any other. It is the smoothest, quietest, and best handling car I have ever driven. It is alos the most fun. I had a 1999 CLK Cabriolet and this is so much better it is hard to believe.

Do not purchase the sport package with the low profile tires. They are damaged much too easily as these tires cannot handle the rigors of everyday driving in Chicago,

I immediately had problems (sunroof rattle, rattle/creaking from the dash, poor a/c, squeeking brakes, etc.). The dealership couldn't "duplicate" the problems and denied they existed. My car was in the shop approx 20+ days in nine months. I called the dealership, it's owner (AutoNation) and Mbz Customer Relations. After approx 50 calls (no exaggeration), I finally got Mbz to buy it back under the Calif. Lemon Law. They kept putting me off hoping I would go away. The only reason I got them to buy it back is because I didn't give up - certainly not because anyone cared about doing the right thing. I will never buy a Mercedes again.
