Run flats are very expensive, make sure your purchase has decent tread left. Better yet...Have the dealer switch to light standard performance tires and provide an RX7 spare. Nov,2018....It was a one ton farm truck that got me. Approx. $2,000 damage to the rear end in a Home Depot parking lot. "I didn't see you". I bought a dash cam for future incidents (everyone is driving SUV's and trucks now in Texas). It is otherwise a reliable and fun toy. Jan,2020...Great for short drives. This winter is fairly cold so the hard top is usually up (better than soft top in this weather). Added backup alarm protection.

I can get golf clubs in the trunk, drive roof up or down with prht, it's fast enough for me, handles like a dream and so is just the perfect 2 seater sports car

This is a great car I've owned a 91 Mazda miata before. I like this one better it's a second car for me. I also have another vehicle I alternate with. I live near the beach so definitely going to work in the morning it's a pleasure with the top down as the Sun's coming up. doesn't get me better. I almost bought a 2017 Mustang convertible great car looks very nice but it just doesn't have that British sports car feel.

My First Miata

We have wanted a Miata ever since first pulling up behind one in Louisville 20 years ago. Really glad we waited until the 2010 since the power hardtop is great to have and much less outside noise. The Miata is beautiful in every regard and corners and drives like a dream. Naturally, being a small sports car and low to the ground, it doesn't have the ride of our LS-430 or Avalon Ltd. but it is also good to have the feel of the road. Actually, I think it rides better than a Corvette. My nephew liked it so much I arranged for them to buy the Liquid Silver from my dealer even though they live in another state. Great car and the only one that has survived in this Class.

Everyone Must Drive One

My daily drive is a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. With 366HP is moves and handles well. When deciding on a weekend fun car my criteria was a hardtop convertible, under 30K and reliable. I always read how great the Miata was to drive and how it was tough to compete against. After the test drive, I was totally convinced. The car is a machine rapped around the drivers body. My wife had reservations about the size of the car, but now asks when we are taking it on a drive. If anyone has hesitations about this car, try to buy one 1 year old- there aren't any and I live in New York.
