1. Fun to drive 2. Fun to drive 3. Did i say it's fun to drive. 4. Very nice interior, not perfect but better than most in it's class, only knock the rear doors could have been more plush. 5. Fuel economy could be better, especially since you just want to open this CUV up when the road clears, the power comes on fast when merging or rolling. 6. Firm ride, if you want that Cadillac road feel this CUV is not for you, however if you are a driver and like to feel planted to the road this CUV is for you. Cornering is fantastic at speed. 7. The tech is awesome especially, the hold and stop, the stop and go traffic cruise control, the cornering headlights and the auto high beams, as well as the HUD feature 8.Seat comfort 9. SOUND SYSTEM!!!!!!!!! 10. FUN CUV to drive.

Cx50 base model

The cx 50 is a really nice riding car . We are quite pleased with the base trim . 17 inch tires really suck up the bad roads .we test drove the turbo model as well , but did not like the ride from The low profile tires or the panoramic roof . Thr na engine has enough power . We've been averaging 27 mpg with 50 50 city highway . It's hilly here not much flat ground . The only complaint I have is the behavior of the transmission . In some situations it searches between gears . Driving in sport or using the manual shift function gets arround the issue . If it would hold it's gear a bit longer it would be perfect .

vehicle handles good, very good for an SUV, only issue I've seen is the driver side windshield wiper cant be raised up without hitting the back of the hood, be careful not to chip the paint! everything else has bee a joy to drive, lots of room, great looks. time will be the real test

My wish I had known list

I bought the 2024 PPT trim. The good - it's a good looking vehicle, cooling seats are great, the turbo engine is very zippy and fun to drive. I'm sorry to say that's where the good ends. There are several annoying features that had I have known, I can say for sure, I wouldn't have bought this vehicle. First, the remote start is NOT on the Fob, you have to use the MyMazda app to remote start the vehicle, dumb and inconvenient. Once you remote start the car, the second you open the door to get into your nice cool or warm vehicle, the engine shuts off. I didn't think would make a big difference with vehicle temperature, but it does, especially since the ac isn't exactly the greatest in getting the vehicle cool to begin with. Heated steering wheel is not entirely heated! Only if you drive with your hands on the sides of the steering wheel. If you're like most and have 1 hand on top of the wheel, no heat for you! The info system is horrible! Not intuitive at all! You can change radio stations using the controls on the steering wheel, but you can't change Sirius stations using those same controls. You have to use the little knob in the center console. No easy way to switch from radio to Sirius, way too many pushes of a button to go back and forth. Radio automatically turns on when I start the car, even if it was off when I last turned the car off. Dumb! Wiper fluid comes out of the wipers, not from the bottom of the windshield, which doesn't clean very well. Gas tank is smaller than most, leading to more fill-up trips. This SUV was ranked extremely high on several websites that review vehicles. I can't imagine that all of the items I listed are only important to me. After having this vehicle for just about 5 months, I've decided I'm going to sell it and get something else that doesn't have all this one's "quirks". Think twice people! Looks aren't everything!

Absolute fail!

Traded in my 21 cx5 for the new cx50, big mistake. The pickup is awful, the panoramic moonroof rattles and only opens about 6 inches. The night mode on rear view mirror can not be shut off and the doors do not stay open upon exiting. The phone charger is useless as it's so slow and the cup holders can't hold anything bigger than a small coffee cup as the radio is in the way. Wish I could turn back time and not make the biggest mistake of my life buying this lemon
