Red Rocket - Mazda6 in Soul Red
Have owned the car for 4+ years. Car has 58K miles. Needed the brakes replaced and injectors cleaned at 38K miles. Otherwise the car has been great. Car runs synthetic oil which I believe help with the gas mileage and overall engine life. Car really handles and performs well. Tires replaced at 40K miles. I put a slightly firmer tire that will last a bit longer. Love the car but need something a bit larger for longer trips to the northeast.

So Far, So Good!
My parents bought this for me as my first car to take to college. It has many pluses, and a few minuses. First, the positives: The car handles really well. The steering is smooth and it corners with very little body roll. The transmission (auto) is very smooth and hardly noticeable. The exterior has a very sporty look and has the appearance more of a luxury car then a mid-sized family car. The interior looks really nice--very well made with high-quality materials. The leather seats are very comfortable, though a little low. Headroom is terrific (I'm 5'11" and I have at least 3 inches above me). The engine is slightly weak for the car, but returns an impressive 30 miles-per-gallon. The Bluetooth system works well. Now for the weaknesses: The big one is the infotainment system. While it's very easy to use, it is extremely small and has limited functions. The "Commander" dial (basically like BMW's iDrive controller) is useful, but distracting. The radio is quite bad, and the screen smudges easily and is hard to clean. At least there's 2 usb ports. The ride is quite harsh, probably partly due to the low-profile 19" wheels. Acceleration is not very good for a car in this class. Also, the brakes could be better.

The best looking fuel-efficient car out there!
I own a 2014 Mazda6 Touring and previously owned a 2016 Mazda6 Sport. Both cars were extremely flashy and sharp, and they are very affordable for how they look! The MPG is on the higher end, which is perfect for long travel as I like to do. The car is FWD and not RWD, which is good in Pennsylvania during the winters. The built in UI is great as well, and it is easy to use. The car fits five people with a lot of space. Definitely my most recommended car!

Mazda is a hidden gem :)
2014 Mazda 6 Sport bought new. Previous was only a Honda Accord owner till I got mad they wouldn’t cover obvious clear coat paint issues so I looked for a replacement. Took a chance on a Mazda 6 and so glad I did. This is so much funner to drive, better MPG with a standard transmission, not that CVC crap. I average 33.8 MPG on city and highway driving combined…. Amazing. Plus it’s so fun that I can manually shift my automatic….I hardly use the brakes! Car is stiff like a Honda but much more nimble and fun. I have not had a single issue so I don’t know where JD power gets off rating Mazda so low. I think they hate Mazda or are obviously paid by sponsors. I can tell the quality of this car is as good and IMO better than Honda. CVC and add in on going pain peal issues I don’t think Honda deserves the praise it. still gets. It’s like a one time champ that has become bloated and mainstream… I had Honda before they were popular so I know Honda’s. Mazda is what Honda should have done and not played safe plus follow the crowd with LAME CVC tranny. So don’t listen to the negative people. If you like Honda but want something better … try a Mazda. You may find like I did that they are what you been looking for to add some spice to your life while retaining the quality but sadly it retail value of Honda. I don’t care cuz I will drive this till 200K like I did my Honda’s. No way is this car worth less than 10k. Let’s keep that our little secret… zoom zoom!

I LOOOOVE MY MAZDA 6
I’ve had my 2014 Mazda6 Sport for about 3 years now. Bought it with 85k and she now has 140k. Really have only done basic maintenance the only bad was the faulty coils I had to replace. But overall not bad for a cheaper car and she’s fast too.
