Very good car -
Hard to pinpoint just one thing that made the Mazda6 one of the most desirable car I ever owned. Just a very very nice car. Update; traded for a Mazda 3CX,,,,,,, 3CX is a Nice little car, little car, emphasiz on little, should have kept Mazda6.

Watch out for
I've had this car three months. Bought it at Infiniti of Tampa used with 53,073 miles. When shutting off the engine goes off but the internal electrical power like the radio etc. Doesn't turn off until you drive the car around again and sometimes I have to try it three or four times to get the whole car to turn off. This car is not good if you live up north where the snow falls. I have new all seasons tires and it got stuck in a 1/2 inch of snow.

Too few miles for repair shop
I bought my Mazda 6 brand new off the lot in December of 2014. We have had numerous recalls on this vehicle. Maybe that is to be expected. I don't know. But the main concern of mine is that I had to put out 400 dollars on a censor that went out. My car only had 54,000 miles on it. Nice job Mazda. Twenty thousand miles over the warranty and I'm already in the repair shop. This is not to mention having to have it towed down there. I will trade as soon as possible. This was my first experience with Mazda and sadly to will most likely be my last. I would not recommend Mazda to anyone. Not reliable!!

Luxury for the price of...luxury?
This car has had so much promise. Over 4 years I have seen its degradation within itself to be its biggest failure. Most common of all: TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. and Mazda knows it. My transmission blew at 64,000 miles, just after its 60,000 powertrain warranty. Weird right? Even before that I've had to fix a shattered gearbox, paid unholy amounts for tires ($900 for a set) and had numerous computer/transmission problems. If it was anything other than that, I would have given it a better rating. I sincerely believe Mazda knows about the massive transmission problems and does not address it in their warranty. Annual maintenance will rack up over $1,000/yr and that's only for a set of tires. If you manage to go one year free of problems, you will be one of few.
