Unimpressed
Had high hopes for this car but was so unimpressed with quality and uncomfortable driving positions and the steering was the worst ive felt, very hard to keep in a straight line on highway because of overly sensitive steering that jerks back and forth.

Real driver, real world
Every review on here seems to be written by Mazda's PR dept. This car has a major issue. Everything about the car is excellent, except for the transmission. It is flat out terrible. Read the reviews at cars.com, this is not isolated. In their attempt to save gas, Mazda has created a transmission that will not shift down unless you floor it, and then the pedal engages some sort of performance button imbedded in the floor and the car lurches forward unsafely. Real world driving is miserable. Every down shift is met with a delay sending your body forward, and then the car lurches forward a second later. Simply awful. Test drive in traffic, around corners, change speeds...you'll see.

Mazda has done it!
Owned the 2014 Mazda 6 itouring with the technology package for 3 months now. This car is amazing! It's fun to drive, very fuel efficient, and it's eye catching! I feel like I'm sitting in a luxury car that's sporty. I went on a vacation with it and averaged up to 40 mpg at 60 mph, and averaged 36 mpg at 70 mph (it was really hilly). I'm always getting compliments too. :) the navigation system is a little slow but it gets the job done. Make sure you test drive this car, you will be impressed.
Cheaply made car.
The interior in the Mazda 6 is horrible. Everything falls apart. Fuse box cover doesn't stay on. Seats rip after a few years. I've had the car 7 years now and have spent more money than I spent in 15 years on my Montero sport. I'll never by another Mazda.

Not Meeting Expectations
The car has a great appearance and seemed to be a decent value, but the fuel economy has not even come close to the averages seen on the window sticker. The sticker averages were 26 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. My car is averaging 24 mpg and I drive mostly on highways. Would not recommend!
